Cir#26/29: Update on SPREP Strategic Planning Progress.

Following the high-level strategic planning update presented at the 32nd SPREP Meeting in September 2025, the Secretariat is pleased to share further details on our progress. 

Our next SPREP Strategic Plan 2027–2036 is being prepared under the guidance of the SPREP Executive and Senior Leadership Team; with facilitation and coordination by the Strategic Planning, Partnerships and Resource Mobilisation Department (SPPRD); and in consultation with Members, partners and Secretariat staff. 

We are following a two-phase strategic planning process (detailed in Annex 1 diagram): 

• PHASE 1, Strategic Plan stocktake and scanning, 2024 to 2025. 

• PHASE 2, Strategic Plan formulation (drafting, review and feedback), 2026 to 2027.
