The Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) through its Environmental Governance Programme continues to strengthen its Members’ capacity in the utilisation of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and data management including the use of national environment data portals to support environmental planning, decision making and reporting across the Pacific Islands region.
SPREP is pleased to advise that the next capacity building training will be held in Nadi, Fiji, from Monday 29th June to Friday 3rd of July 2026 and is made possible through the kind financial assistance of the EU-funded Pacific BioScapes Programme, the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (NZ MFAT) SPREP Funding Support and the UNEP CIS-Pac5Project.
